This Privacy Policy explains how E-TRADE PARTNER PROSTA SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles personal data in connection with our applications available on the Shopify App Store.
For data we collect directly from merchants (e.g., account and contact details), we act as the data controller. For personal data we access about a merchant’s customers through the Shopify APIs, the merchant is the controller and we act as a processor on the merchant’s behalf.

3. Information We Collect
Merchant data. When a merchant installs or uses one of our apps, we may access information from the merchant’s Shopify account, such as:
- Store URL and store name
- Store owner name and email address
- Installed themes or other app-specific store data
- Technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps
Customer data. Depending on the app and the Shopify API permissions granted by the merchant, we may also process limited personal data about the merchant’s customers, such as customer name, email address, phone number, shipping or billing address, order or checkout details, and other data necessary to provide the app.
The exact data accessed depends on the app installed, the merchant’s configuration, and the Shopify API permissions granted during installation.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve our apps
- Communicate with merchants about support, billing, and technical issues
- Send merchants product updates and marketing communications about our apps and services, which they can opt out of at any time
- Send transactional notifications to merchant customers on the merchant’s behalf, where configured by the merchant in our app (for example, confirming activation of a subscription contract or other actions on the merchant’s store)
- Comply with legal obligations and Shopify App Store requirements
- Protect our rights and prevent misuse of our services
Where we process a merchant’s customer data, we do so on behalf of the merchant and only as needed to provide the app, including sending notifications the merchant configures within the app. We do not use merchant customer data for our own marketing or advertising purposes.
Our legal bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where applicable.
5. Sharing Information
We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with:
- Shopify, as needed to operate our apps on the platform
- Service providers that support our apps (e.g., hosting, infrastructure, and support tools), bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect our rights
6. Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our rights.
We respond to data access and deletion requests received from Shopify or directly from merchants in accordance with applicable law and Shopify App Store requirements, unless retention is required by law.
7. International Transfers
We are established in Poland. Personal data may be processed by us or our service providers outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable data protection laws.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the information below. If your request relates to data controlled by a Shopify merchant, we may direct you to that merchant.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process.
